This Easter Weekend is set to be a beautiful sunny weekend and we have the perfect simple Spritz cocktail to get you in the mood. Easter is the perfect excuse to do something extra special for those you are spending the lockdown with (or just as a tasty treat for yourself). Your normal G&T is no longer and with a simple and versatile syrup recipe you can transform your drinking habits to something a little more indulgent.

If you have given our Peach & Basil Syrup recipe a go then this is the drink for you. If you haven’t then it is a must! Don’t forget that our simple syrup recipe is very versatile and the peach & basil can be substituted with pretty much any fruit and herb combination, winner!

Peach & Basil Spritz

You will need:

35ml Gin

15ml White Vermouth

20ml Peach and Basil Syrup

10 ml Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice

Top up with Soda

Method

STEP 1: Build all ingredients in the glass over ice. A large wine glass is the perfect vessel.

STEP 2: Stir it gently to combine then top up with soda.

STEP 3: Garnish with basil leaves and a slice of peach
